Proposing a New Program Unit
The SBL Program Committee encourages members to propose new program units related to texts or areas of interest that are not represented on the International Meeting program.
A check list of required items is available here.
New unit proposals are reviewed at within the SBL office for completeness in relation to the check list and then by the Program Committee as a whole. Proposals should include the items on the check list and should describe the relationship of the proposed new unit to currently existing units. Specific program plans, including projected presenters and presentation titles, should be included.
Proposals and questions related to developing a proposal should be sent via email to Matthew Collins, SBL’s Director of Congresses.
